About the Role

AI5 Academy is looking for an experienced Pharmacovigilance / Drug Safety professional who can connect real-world safety workflows with Generative AI, automation and analytics.

The AI5 programme covers adverse-event case processing, literature screening, signal-support workflows, documentation and traceability with human review and evidence controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver live Pharmacovigilance + AI training.
  • Teach the fundamentals of AI use across drug-safety workflows.
  • Demonstrate adverse-event case intake and structured processing.
  • Teach AI-assisted case review and summarisation.
  • Demonstrate literature-screening workflows.
  • Teach safety-signal support and evidence review.
  • Demonstrate AI-assisted safety documentation.
  • Explain human review, escalation and traceability.
  • Introduce practical automation and agentic workflows where appropriate.
  • Guide learners through industry-style cases and capstone projects.
  • Review learner outputs for accuracy, evidence and workflow quality.
  • Update examples as AI adoption in pharmacovigilance evolves.

Ideal Candidate

  • 4+ years of Pharmacovigilance / Drug Safety / Clinical Operations experience preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical, CRO, healthcare or life-sciences background.
  • Strong understanding of real PV workflows.
  • Practical familiarity with Generative AI.
  • Comfortable demonstrating AI-assisted professional workflows.
  • Strong teaching and communication ability.
