Technical Writer

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a Technical Writer with experience in enterprise application documentation, solution design, and business process documentation. The ideal candidate should be able to work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and QA teams to create, validate, and maintain technical, functional, and operational documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain HLDs, LLDs, solution design documents, API documentation, process flows, SOPs, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
• Document business requirements, use cases, workflows, and operational processes.
• Support BA and QA teams in preparing functional documentation, test cases, UAT documents, and traceability matrices.
• Collaborate with architects and development teams to capture and validate technical designs.
• Ensure documentation remains aligned with implemented solutions through design reviews and code walkthroughs.
• Maintain end-to-end traceability between requirements, design documents, test cases, and implementation.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of technical writing experience in enterprise software projects.
• Strong experience creating HLD, LLD, architecture, and process documentation.
• Good understanding of SDLC, Agile, APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, and system architecture.
• Ability to read and understand UML, BPMN, ER, and sequence diagrams.
• Basic understanding of C#/.NET applications and ability to validate documentation against code and implementation.
• Experience with Confluence, Azure DevOps, Jira, SharePoint, Visio, Lucidchart, and Microsoft Office.
