What You’ll Work On

• Design and test reference application processor firmware
• Develop, test, and debug low-level software across software models, development boards, and production platforms
• Build software stacks for next-generation processor and computing platforms
• Develop test code and create automation solutions that reduce manual testing and improve development efficiency
• Analyse industry specifications and roadmap requirements
• Break down technical requirements into actionable engineering tasks
• Contribute to project planning, implementation, upstream development, and software maintenance
• Investigate complex defects and implement robust fixes
• Work across software development, testing, validation, and system-level debugging

What You Bring

• 4+ years of relevant experience in embedded software, firmware, systems software, or related engineering
• Excellent C/C++ programming skills, including the ability to develop significant functionality and resolve complex defects
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience in software development and/or software testing
• Strong understanding of low-level systems and system architecture
• Knowledge of OS fundamentals, bootloaders, and device drivers
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows environments
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, CI, and test automation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of assembly is an advantage

Nice to Have

• Python programming and shell scripting
• Understanding of the Linux kernel, system software, device drivers, or Android internals
• Familiarity with open-source development cycles and upstream contribution processes
• Experience with software profiling, instrumentation, and optimization
• Experience in firmware verification and validation
• Knowledge of different software testing techniques and automated test systems
• Experience with Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices
• Familiarity with Agile and other software development methodologies
• Experience working across hardware and software teams
