Staff Software Engineer | Systems & Low-Level Computing | Bengaluru

We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join this engineering organisation in Bengaluru.

The technical landscape

This role sits deep in the systems stack, with work spanning:

C / C++ • Linux Kernel • AOSP • Hypervisor • Bootloaders • Trusted Firmware • Secure OS • System Architecture

You’ll be working across areas such as:

• Low-level software development and debugging

• System architecture and OS fundamentals

• Development boards and software models

• Complex defect analysis and root-cause investigation

• Profiling, instrumentation and optimisation

• CI and test automation

• Security Development Lifecycle

• Open-source development and upstreaming

• Codeline maintenance and production software

We’re looking for someone with 14+ years of strong software engineering experience who can operate beyond individual components and think at system level.

Someone who can:

→ Design significant functionality in C/C++

→ Debug problems deep in the software stack

→ Understand how software interacts with underlying hardware

→ Reason about boot, OS, security and system architecture

→ Lead technically complex initiatives

→ Influence engineering decisions across teams

→ Mentor senior engineers and raise the technical bar

Experience with assembly, Python, shell scripting, profiling, optimisation and open-source development is highly relevant.
