Senior RDK-B Firmware Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior RDK-B Firmware Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and troubleshoot embedded software for broadband and cable gateway devices. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with RDK-B, C/C++, Linux, networking protocols, and embedded systems .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RDK-B firmware for broadband gateway/CPE devices.
• Design, develop, debug, and optimize embedded software using C/C++ .
• Work with Embedded Linux and RDK-B components.
• Develop and integrate features across RDK-B modules and system services.
• Work with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and VLAN .
• Troubleshoot firmware, system, networking, and performance issues.
• Analyze logs, core dumps, crashes, and memory/CPU issues.
• Integrate and customize RDK-B components for different hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with hardware, QA, DevOps, and system engineering teams.
• Support firmware releases, testing, deployment, and production issues.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with RDK-B .
• Excellent programming skills in C/C++ .
• Strong experience with Embedded Linux .
• Knowledge of Broadband CPE / Gateway / DOCSIS platforms.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and VLAN .
• Experience with Linux debugging and troubleshooting .
• Familiarity with Git, GDB, Make/CMake, and shell scripting .
• Experience with embedded software development and system integration.
