Job Title: Network Security Engineer

Location: NYC NY
Duration: Long Term

Rate: $70/hr. on 1099

Responsibilities:

• Provide security engineering and project support for network security initiatives, focused on Client-prioritized activities related to TLS interception for end user compute.
• Assist with planning, coordination, and operational readiness activities associated with implementation of network security technologies, including stakeholder engagement.
• Support development of governance considerations, exception management processes, stakeholder communications, and execution planning required for network security initiatives.
• Provide technical coordination and subject matter support related to integration and deployment activities as requested by client.
• Preferred: Understanding of TLS intercept, palo alto NGFW, and network security experience testing, communicating to stakeholders, and rolling out phased network configuration changes coordinating multiple operations teams.

Network Security Engineering

• Provide security engineering support for network security initiatives, including activities related to TLS interception and associated security capabilities.
• Assist with planning, stakeholder coordination, and operational readiness activities.
• Support governance, exception management, communications, and execution planning activities.
• TLS interception implementation plan including sequencing, ownership, dependencies, approvals, and execution milestones.
• Completed coordination, integration, deployment, and readiness activities for client-prioritized network security initiatives.

Pay: $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
