Senior Technical Product Owner – AI / SaaS Platform

CloudiQS is an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner building cloud, AI and agentic solutions on AWS.

Alongside our AWS consulting and managed services business, we are building our own SaaS platforms focused on AI agents, governance, deployment and operations.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Owner who can take genuine ownership of these products and turn product vision into software that customers can understand, adopt and use.

This is not a role for someone who simply manages Jira tickets or runs Scrum ceremonies.

We need someone who can take a complex product, understand the customer problem, simplify the user journey, decide what should be built first and work directly with engineering until it is properly delivered.

What You Will Own

You will own product across our AI SaaS platforms, including agent development, deployment, governance, and management capabilities.

You will own the journey from:

Product Vision → Customer Journey → UX → Requirements → Engineering → Testing → Acceptance → Release

Your responsibilities will include:

• Own and maintain the product roadmap.
• Translate product vision into clear epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Define the MVP and aggressively prioritise what matters.
• Own and continuously refine the engineering backlog.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, product demos and acceptance.
• Work directly with software engineers, architects, UX/design and leadership.
• Map complete customer journeys before development begins.
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies and unnecessary complexity in the product.
• Challenge technical implementations that do not create a good customer experience.
• Ensure features are genuinely complete before they are considered delivered.
• Define product requirements for APIs, integrations and third-party services.
• Own onboarding, subscription and customer lifecycle experiences.
• Work across areas including multi-tenancy, RBAC, permissions, workflows, approvals and governance.
• Help define SaaS packaging, feature tiers and product capabilities.
• Work with AWS services and integrations including Amazon Bedrock and emerging agentic AI technologies.
• Gather feedback from customers and convert it into product improvements.
• Define product metrics and measure adoption, usability and customer outcomes.
• Keep engineering focused on customer value rather than simply completing tickets.

What We Are Looking For

You should have demonstrable experience owning and shipping a real software product.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:

• 5+ years in Product Ownership, Product Management or Technical Product Management.
• B2B SaaS products.
• Taking products from concept or early-stage MVP through production release.
• Working directly with software engineering teams.
• Writing detailed product requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Designing and improving complex user journeys.
• API-driven platforms and integrations.
• Multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
• Authentication, RBAC and permissions.
• Cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• AI, Generative AI, LLMs or agentic AI products.
• Developer platforms, automation platforms or workflow products.
• Agile software delivery.

You do not need to be a software engineer, but you must be technically confident enough to discuss architecture, APIs, data flows, integrations and platform limitations with engineers.

What Good Looks Like

Within your first few weeks, we expect you to be able to understand the current product, identify where the customer experience is failing and create a clear prioritised roadmap.

You should be comfortable saying:

This is the customer problem.

This is the journey we need to support.

This is MVP.

These features are not important yet.

These are the five things engineering needs to deliver first.

And when something is delivered, you should be confident enough to say:

This does not meet the requirement yet.
