Mid Level Systems Admin - M365/Azure 3 Month Contract 100% Remote $45/hr W2

Provide optimum performance of infrastructure and enterprise-wide technology across on-premises and Microsoft Azure environments through the creation, advancement, and support of technology, ensuring compatibility of design and components. This role supports the organization’s full suite of Microsoft applications and manages single sign-on (SSO) configurations across enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

May perform one or more of the following:

• Administer and support Microsoft applications across the enterprise, including Microsoft 365 and related Azure services
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot SSO integrations for enterprise applications through Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)
• Plan, install, test, and maintain infrastructure across on-premises and Azure environments
• Aid projects in enterprise system requirements and test plan development
• Contribute to system architecture planning, and to policies and procedures surrounding enterprise-wide technology, including cloud resources
• Develop guidelines for system implementation with regard to maintaining system security and access control
• Monitor system performance; perform complex problem determination and resolution for systems at different enterprise levels
• Conduct impact analysis regarding enterprise-wide technology
• Perform capacity monitoring with various monitoring tools; provide analysis and recommendations; may assist in capacity planning
• Support system integration, software, and hardware at the enterprise level for optimum performance
• Remain current on new technologies, including Azure and Microsoft 365 services, and introduce applicable technology in alignment with goals and for creative solutions
• Guide change with a focus on optimal outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of related infrastructure or systems administration experience
• Hands-on experience administering resources in Microsoft Azure (virtual machines, storage, networking, or identity)
• Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux environments
• Knowledge of application architecture; ability to perform the job relatively independently
• Ability to report on technical information, tailored to the audience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for moderate problems
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Capacity monitoring and planning experience
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics
• Exposure to VMware or other hybrid infrastructure
• Scripting experience with PowerShell or Azure CLI
• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification or similar
