Java Developer

A leading consultancy is looking for a Java Developer. This role involves delivering high-quality, cross-functional solutions for a major public sector project within a collaborative team environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing and maintaining microservices and micro-frontend architectures to support public sector initiatives.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions using Java and Spring frameworks.
• Utilising Oracle PL/SQL and Web Applications to manage and process complex data sets.
• Implementing best practices for Docker, Git, and Cloud Platforms within a Jenkins-based CI/CD pipeline.
• Participating in knowledge transfer and training sessions at various sites as required by the project.

What We’re Looking For

• Extensive commercial experience as a Java Developer, specifically within the Public Sector.
• Active SC and NPPV3 security clearance is mandatory for this position.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring (Boot, Data JPA, Security) or JavaScript/TypeScript with React.
• Proven experience with microservices, Docker, Git, and Nginx.
• Legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
