About us

We are building a permanent holding company that acquires established American businesses and rebuilds their operations around engineering and AI. We buy to own forever, never to flip. We believe technology should make good operators and their employees better, not replace them.

Compensation

This is a founder role. Compensation until our first capital raise closes is co-founder equity only. After the first close, salary will be in the range listed in this posting. We say this up front because we only want to talk with people who want to build from zero.

What you will do

• Lead fundraising from institutional investors, family offices, and venture firms
• Source, underwrite, and structure acquisitions, with you leading deals from first call to close
• Build relationships with owners of the businesses we want to buy, and earn their trust to be the home for what they built
• Set capital allocation strategy alongside the other founders
• Serve on the boards of the companies we acquire

Who you are

• 8+ years in private equity, a hedge fund’s private investment team, or growth equity, with deals you personally led
• Experience underwriting businesses in financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries
• Real relationships with investors who would take your call
• Comfortable working closely with engineers, and curious about how AI changes the economics of old businesses
• Thinks in decades, and wants ownership of a lifetime project more than a title
