Job Description
• $90–$130 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• 20 or more hours a week, you choose when
Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the contract judgment you already have.
The legal AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real attorneys. The teams building them need technology transactions lawyers who can create realistic contract-review tasks, judge whether AI responses accurately spot legal and commercial risks, write the answer a practicing attorney would give, and explain exactly where the response falls short. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of models that review and interpret contracts. This is that work, done remotely around your current job.
What you’ll do
• Review and redline deal documents such as MSAs, NDAs, ISDAs and derivatives agreements
• In simulated contract negotiations, weigh how proposed language changes the legal and commercial deal
• Judge AI answers to contract questions: are they accurate, do they catch the real risks, and would an experienced deal lawyer stand behind them
• Set the criteria used to grade contract-related AI tasks, build the evaluation framework, and give clear feedback that improves the outputs
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $90–$130 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier AI contract-review tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most technology transactions lawyers will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping legal contract review, and the lawyers who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
Who this is for
• At least 3 years working in-house on technology transactions
• Hands-on experience with commercial contracts, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating and redlining, plus knowledge of MSAs, NDAs, ISDAs and derivatives transactions
• Clear written and verbal English; you bring structured legal judgment, a detail-focused approach, and experience working with teams across disciplines
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $90–$130 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• 20 or more hours a week, you choose when; fully remote, United States
