Job Description
• $100–$200 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• 20 or more hours a week, you choose when
Work on the cutting edge of AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the clinical judgment you already bring to supporting young abuse survivors.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real clinical experts. The teams building them need child and youth abuse trauma clinicians who can work through realistic abuse cases, judge whether AI-generated guidance is accurate and safe, write the trauma-informed response a professional would give, and explain where the AI misses important clinical, ethical, or safety concerns. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of AI systems handling sensitive mental health and safety topics. This is that work, done remotely, around your current clinical practice.
What you’ll do
• Work through realistic case scenarios involving children and teens who have experienced abuse
• Assess AI-generated mental health guidance for abuse cases and assign a rating
• Write clear, trauma-informed guidance on best practices for supporting young abuse survivors
• Identify where AI-generated responses fall short on clinical, ethical, and safety grounds, then recommend improvements
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $100–$200 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most child and youth abuse trauma clinicians will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping mental health care for vulnerable young people, and the clinicians who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
Who this is for
• An MD, a PhD in psychology, or a PhD in social work
• Extensive clinical experience with children and teens who have survived abuse, as the main focus of your current, active practice
• Expertise in trauma-informed care and clinical interventions, strong ethical standards with care for participant privacy and well-being, and clear English
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $100–$200 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• 20 or more hours a week, you choose when; fully remote, United States
