About the Role

We are looking for an Android Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Android application development and be comfortable working with modern Android technologies and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
• Build scalable and maintainable applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Implement Jetpack Compose and modern Android development practices.
• Follow MVVM / Clean Architecture principles.
• Integrate REST APIs using Retrofit and handle asynchronous operations using Coroutines / Flow.
• Work with Firebase services including notifications, analytics, crash reporting, etc.
• Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and product teams.
• Debug issues, optimize application performance, and improve app stability.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Good understanding of MVVM / Clean Architecture.
• Experience with Retrofit, Coroutines, Flow, Room/SQLite.
• Experience with Firebase.
• Understanding of Android lifecycle, navigation, background services, and push notifications.
• Experience integrating REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of Git and version control.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Maps and Location APIs.
• Experience with payment gateway integration.
• Experience with deep links and push notifications.
• Experience with app performance optimization.
• Experience publishing and managing apps on Google Play Store.
