Job Description

Role: ServiceNow Lead Developer / Administrator

Location: Telework while residing in Texas. Equipment pickup and occasional meetings in Austin are required.

Term: 12 Months

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation Leadership: Lead end-to-end ServiceNow implementations, guide architectural decisions, and present solutions and roadmaps to stakeholders.
  • Hands-on Development & Admin: Build custom workflows, Flow Designer actions, business rules, script includes, client scripts, reports, and interactive dashboards.
  • Platform Architecture & Data Model: Steer CMDB design and CSDM (Common Service Data Model) alignment, ensuring data hygiene and relationship mapping.
  • Governance & Delivery: Oversee release management, update sets, ATF (Automated Test Framework) / testing protocols, and best-practice platform governance.

Core Qualifications Required

  • ServiceNow Experience: Minimum 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and system administration.
  • Module Expertise: Deep functional and technical knowledge across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and adjacent modules.
  • Integrations: At least 5+ years designing and maintaining integrations via:
  • Azure AD / SSO (SAML 2.0 / OAuth)
  • MID Server configuration and cluster management
  • REST and SOAP web services
  • Inbound/outbound email integrations
  • Leadership & Communication: Proven track record leading enterprise rollouts, mentoring junior developers, and translating business requirements into technical specs for non-technical stakeholders.
