Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Principal Solution Architect to lead an enterprise-scale AWS-to-GCP migration , define the target architecture, and establish the GCP cloud and application platform foundation.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end AWS-to-GCP migration architecture and strategy.
Design GCP Landing Zone, networking, IAM, security, and hybrid connectivity.
Define architecture for GKE, Cloud Run, microservices, APIs, and event-driven workloads.
Establish Terraform-based IaC, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and platform engineering standards.
Define observability, resiliency, high availability, and disaster recovery frameworks.
Lead architecture reviews, technical decisions, and migration workstreams.
Translate architecture into actionable work for US and offshore engineering teams.
Partner with stakeholders across New York, Chicago, India, Engineering, Security, DevOps, and PMO.
Required Qualifications
15+ years of experience in Cloud, Solution, or Enterprise Architecture.
Deep hands-on expertise in both AWS and GCP .
Proven experience leading complex enterprise AWS-to-GCP migrations.
Strong expertise in GCP Landing Zones, VPC, IAM, security, networking, and hybrid connectivity.
Strong experience with Terraform, Kubernetes/GKE, Cloud Run, CI/CD, microservices, and APIs .
Experience leading distributed US and offshore engineering teams.
Strong executive and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.
AWS Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
Experience with Platform Engineering / Internal Developer Platforms.
FinOps and cloud cost optimization experience.
Experience in regulated enterprise environments.
