Summary
As a Jewelry Consultant at Gennaro Jewelers Inc., you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding customer experience. Located in Nassau County Long Island, you will assist customers in selecting or creating the perfect piece of jewelry while showcasing your expertise in product knowledge and sales and custom designs.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized jewelry recommendations.
- Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits of various jewelry pieces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems and cash registers.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Stay informed about current trends in the jewelry industry to better assist customers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in FINE JEWELRY retail sales or customer service, preferably in the jewelry or luxury goods sector.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer engagement.
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is essential.
- A passion for jewelry and a keen eye for detail are highly desirable.
