Role: Network Security Architect
Location: New York, NY
Work Model: Hybrid – 3 Days/Week
Employment Type: Contract / C2C
Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Network Security Architect with strong enterprise networking and cybersecurity architecture experience, along with hands-on expertise in Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) .
Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise networking and security architecture
- Strong knowledge of PQC and NIST FIPS 203, 204 & 205
- Experience with PQC readiness across Firewalls, WAF, NAC, Proxy, VPN and PKI
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Check Point or Cisco NGFW
- Strong networking knowledge: BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN, IP Routing
- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP security architecture
- Knowledge of NIST, CIS, SABSA or TOGAF
- Python or PowerShell scripting/automation experience
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust, network segmentation and secure enterprise architecture
- Financial services / regulated industry experience is preferred
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Preferred Certifications
CISSP / CISSP-ISSAP, CCIE, CISM or SABSA certification is a plus.
