Salary: $180,000 - $225,000 + meaningful equity

Location: San Francisco, CA (5 days onsite)

Eligibility: Must be a US or Canadian resident.

Required: React/Next.js, TypeScript, zero-to-one product delivery, VC-backed startup experience, Strong CS foundation from a top programme - (Non-Negotiable)

Core technologies:

• Proficient in TypeScript (this is tested in the technical screen)
• Production experience building UIs with React and Next.js
• Comfortable building fast, responsive interfaces on a data-intensive product
• Strong CS foundation from a top programme

Environment:

• Strong experience in a fast-moving, VC-backed startup or scale-up
• Shipped zero-to-one product features end-to-end with visible business impact
• Able to own features end-to-end and iterate fast with high autonomy
• Comfortable working onsite 5 days a week in San Francisco

Key skills:

• 3 to 6 years of frontend engineering experience
• Strong grounding in modern frontend architecture and performance
• Ability to build polished, intuitive interfaces that thousands of users touch daily
• High-level written and spoken English for a sharp, collaborative team

This is a hands-on frontend role for someone who wants massive ownership. You’ll build cutting-edge, intuitive interfaces on a data-rich product, shipping to production daily and working shoulder to shoulder with engineers, researchers and product to turn ideas into polished, real-world features.

Key Responsibilities

• Ship polished, high-performance UI features used by thousands of people every day
• Build fast, responsive interfaces on a complex, data-heavy product
• Design and build interfaces that surface complex, AI-driven solutions to customers
• Iterate rapidly with the wider team to deploy new features fast
• Stay ahead of modern frontend tooling and raise the bar on the product

Nice to Have

• Experience building data-heavy or ML-powered user interfaces at production scale
• Familiarity with TailwindCSS, Node.js, tRPC, PostgreSQL, or AWS
• Track record of high personal achievement in fast-growing environments
