Fraud AI / Data Senior Consultant (remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Fraud AI / Data Senior Consultant to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will focus on designing and implementing scalable AI and data solutions that help clients detect fraud, improve payment integrity, and strengthen decision-making. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to translate business needs into practical technical solutions, while also owning deliverables and presenting insights to executive stakeholders. The position also includes mentoring junior consultants and helping ensure all work aligns with governance and responsible AI standards.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $113,000 – $188,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable AI and data solutions
• Develop, test, and tune fraud detection rules
• Develop and optimize machine learning models
• Lead data analytics efforts to detect fraud and identify areas for improvement
• Partner with clients to translate needs into AI solutions
• Own client deliverables and prepare executive presentations
• Mentor junior consultants and review their work
• Ensure adherence to governance and responsible AI standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• 5+ years of experience in AI, data science, analytics, or engineering
• 3+ years working in a fraud or payment integrity-related role
• Strong expertise in Python, R, SQL, and data modeling
• Proficient in statistical and data analytics
• Experience with various data formats, including CSV, JSON, XML, and similar formats
• Proficient in data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau
• Experience in financial crime compliance and fraud prevention
