About This Opportunity

Job Title: Software Engineer II
Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android platforms.

Translate product and business requirements into intuitive, accessible, and reusable mobile experiences aligned with 7-Eleven customer and store journeys.

Develop reusable React Native components, screens, hooks, and shared modules using modern JavaScript/TypeScript and established mobile architecture patterns.

Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, authentication, push notifications, deep links, and other platform services to support end-to-end workflows.

Implement robust state management, client-side caching, offline-aware behavior, form handling, and error recovery for complex mobile use cases.

Collaborate with product, UX/UI, QA, backend, and platform teams to clarify requirements, define API contracts, and deliver production-ready features.

Optimize application startup time, rendering performance, memory usage, battery impact, network usage, and responsiveness across supported devices and OS versions.

Write and maintain unit, component, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, and Detox or equivalent.

Support mobile build, release, and deployment processes, including environment configuration, versioning, CI/CD pipelines, and app store readiness.

Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, Agile ceremonies, incident triage, and continuous improvement activities; contribute to mentoring and knowledge sharing.

Participate in code reviews, CI/CD workflows, and Agile ceremonies in collaboration with product, QA, and design teams.

Technical Skills Required:

5+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years building and shipping production mobile applications with React Native.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript, including modern React patterns such as hooks, component composition, and asynchronous programming.

Hands-on experience with React Native application architecture, reusable components, styling, responsive layouts, platform-specific behavior, and the React Native lifecycle.

Experience with mobile navigation and app flows using React Navigation or an equivalent library, including deep linking, nested navigation, and authentication flows.
