Role Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Developer to join our client’s engineering team in a full-time remote role.

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions while ensuring high standards of code quality, performance, and security. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, QA, and DevOps to deliver reliable and impactful products.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and applications.
• Writing clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested production code.
• Building and integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Reviewing code, providing technical guidance, and maintaining engineering best practices.
• Optimizing application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Participating in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Troubleshooting production issues and implementing long-term solutions.
• Mentoring junior developers and supporting their technical growth.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Contributing to CI/CD processes, deployment automation, and system monitoring.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, DBMS, and Software Engineering principles.
• 1-6 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with backend development, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience with automated testing, debugging, profiling, and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing large-scale distributed systems.
• Knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Previous experience mentoring developers and leading technical initiatives.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
