Job Description
Smooth helps businesses accept payments and bring customers back through tools such as payment links, QR payments, subscriptions, cashback, and online ordering.
We’re looking for a Product Designer to design clear, polished experiences for merchants and their customers. You’ll work closely with our engineering team, from understanding a problem through to designs that are ready to build.
What you’ll do
- Design merchant and customer journeys across web and mobile.
- Turn product requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI designs.
- Simplify complex flows.
- Work with engineers during implementation and review the finished experience.
- Improve and maintain consistent components and patterns in Figma.
- Use merchant feedback and product data to improve existing features.
What we’re looking for
- Experience designing digital products, with a portfolio showing work you personally contributed to.
- Strong UX thinking and visual design skills.
- Confidence designing end-to-end flows, including empty states, errors, and edge cases.
- Proficiency in Figma and experience working with developers.
- Ability to explain your design decisions and respond well to feedback.
Experience with fintech, SaaS, e-commerce is a plus, but not required.
