🚨 Go Backend Engineers — NYC

I’m working with a fast-growing fintech hiring Backend Engineers from mid-level through Staff to join their NYC engineering team.

The interesting part?

They’re pivoting their backend stack from Java to Go as part of a wider replatform , so they’re looking for experienced Go engineers who can help shape the transition, architecture and systems being built.

This isn’t a case of joining an established Go platform and maintaining what’s already there. You’ll have a genuine opportunity to influence how the new backend is designed and built .

🎯 What they’re looking for:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience

• Strong commercial experience with Go

• Experience building scalable distributed systems / microservices

• Strong cloud experience across AWS, GCP or Azure

• Solid understanding of system design, CI/CD and infrastructure

• Comfortable working in a high-ownership, fast-moving environment

💰 $170k–$300k base + equity + performance bonus

📍 NYC | 5 days onsite | Meatpacking District
