Job Description

About us

Korea Investment Partners U.S. is a venture investment firm focused on frontier technologies — artificial intelligence, semiconductors, datacenter infrastructure, robotics, physical AI, and the deep tech platforms shaping the next decade of global industry.

We’re backed by KIP and KIH Holdings, one of Asia’s largest financial platforms with over $400 billion in assets under management. That gives us a strong capital base and a long-term horizon: we invest across all stages, from first check to late-stage growth, and we stay close to the companies we back.

KIP US is the fastest-growing part of the platform. We’re investing actively, building new fund structures, and putting the operating foundation in place as we go. We’re a small team of eight in Santa Clara, and we’re looking for the person who keeps it all running.

The role

You’d be the center of how this office works, and the bridge between our team here and our colleagues in Seoul.

Supporting the President and the team

  • Calendar and scheduling, travel coordination, meeting preparation
  • Preparing for investor meetings, portfolio company visits, and internal meetings
  • Hosting visitors, including executives from our parent company in Korea
  • Team events, off-sites, and the things that make an office feel like one

Working with our parent company

  • Preparing and filing approval requests through the group’s system
  • Tracking reporting deadlines
  • Serving as the reliable, friendly point of contact for colleagues in Seoul

Keeping the operation in order

  • Payroll and benefits coordination with our outside providers
  • Expense processing, reimbursements, and basic reporting
  • Vendor and service provider relationships — lease, insurance, IT, professional services
  • Office equipment and appliance management, conference room support
  • Employment records, corporate filings, registrations, and renewals
  • First point of contact for visitors, vendors, and external partners

Who does well here

  • You take real satisfaction in a well-run office
  • You’re warm with people — visitors, colleagues, vendors — and they feel looked after
  • You spot what needs doing before anyone asks
  • You’re comfortable with a week that includes both preparing for an important meeting and sorting out an insurance renewal
  • You want to be excellent at this work rather than use it as a stepping stone. We’d rather say that plainly.

What you’ll need

  • Professional Korean, including written business Korean — you’ll be drafting documents for our Seoul office
  • Professional written and spoken English
  • 2–3+ years in executive support, office management, or administrative operations
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail across competing priorities
  • Comfort with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, including basic spreadsheet and presentation work
  • Sound judgment with confidential information
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, now and in the future

Helpful but not required: experience in a finance, investment, or technology environment; experience at the U.S. arm of an international parent company; familiarity with DocuSign and expense platforms; exposure to California employment administration.

What we offer

  • $80,000 – $100,000 base salary, plus discretionary bonus
  • Premium medical and dental coverage, and a 401(k) plan
  • A small team where your work is visible and matters
  • A front-row seat at a global investment platform in its fastest-growing phase

KIP US, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. We consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. We will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the California Fair Chance Act and applicable local ordinances.
