Brief Job Description

ITEC TeamDynamix System Administrator and Developer coordinates, manages, and performs technical activities for TeamDynamix modules and applications. The System Administrator is familiar with all stages of the systems development life cycle, including requirements definition, solution design, development, unit testing, user-acceptance testing, validation and production support. The System Administrator must stay aware of new technologies that impact TeamDynamix by attending service desk related conferences and training annually.

The location for this position is in Buffalo, NY. An office location at a New York State or SUNY Institution may be possible.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or in a related field

• Progressive experience as a TDX administrator

• Progressive experience in a technical service desk or support environment

• Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Progressive experience with operating systems such as Unix/Linux or Microsoft DOS/Windows

• Strong knowledge of IT Service Management principles and best practices.

• Experience in an educational environment

• Experience with enterprise application administration, systems integrations, and reporting.

  • Knowledge of REST APIs, authentications (LDAP, Active Directory, SSO/SAML)
  • Data imports/exports, reporting, dashboards
  • Workflow and iPaaS automation
  • Experience implementing and troubleshooting system issues and coordinating with vendors or technical teams.

• ITIL Foundation certification

• Formal TeamDynamix Administrator training
