Pitchblend is seeking a Senior Account Executive to help lead communications campaigns for global brands across sport, style, entertainment and culture. This person will translate strategic direction into strong execution, serve as a trusted partner to clients and bring the judgment needed to move complex work forward.
We’re looking for someone who can move confidently between big-picture thinking and the details that make a campaign successful. You’ll bring strong media instincts, cultural fluency and a high degree of ownership while contributing ideas that strengthen the work and deliver meaningful results.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day execution of integrated communications campaigns across multiple client accounts, keeping work aligned with client objectives, timelines and agency standards
- Develop media strategies, campaign narratives, pitch angles and outreach plans informed by cultural shifts
- Write and edit pitches, press releases, media advisories, briefing materials, messaging and other client-facing communications
- Lead media outreach and build and maintain relationships across traditional media, emerging media, creators, tastemakers, community leaders, cultural influencers, strategic partners and voices shaping influential subcultures
- Serve as a day-to-day client contact, leading meetings and presentations and clearly communicating campaign progress, recommendations, priorities and next steps
- Plan and execute events, activations, productions, press trips and product launches, coordinating media and guest experiences, schedules, vendors and on-site needs
- Track earned coverage and campaign performance, translating results into client reports, recaps and recommendations
- Maintain clear project plans, budgets, trackers and account documentation; flag risks and shifting priorities early
- Manage product seeding, gifting, media interviews, sample requests and related coordination from planning through campaign completion
- Identify new opportunities that use emerging media, creator communities and culturally relevant partnerships to amplify client storytelling beyond clients’ existing ecosystems
- Demonstrate accountability for operational excellence by contributing to efficient resource management, project health and overall agency performance
- Mentor, guide and support Account Coordinators, Account Executives and other junior team members
Qualifications
- 5–6 years of experience in public relations, communications, integrated marketing or brand strategy, ideally within an agency environment
- Demonstrated cultural fluency across emerging media, creator ecosystems, sport, lifestyle, fashion, entertainment, streetwear, sneakers, music, community engagement and evolving subcultures
- Experience supporting lifestyle, culture, consumer, hospitality, travel, entertainment or emerging brand categories
- Proven experience leading earned media initiatives, securing meaningful coverage and building strong media relationships across relevant industries and markets
- Strong strategic communications, writing and editing skills, with experience developing clear and compelling media and client-facing materials
- Experience supporting events, activations, productions, press trips, product launches and other live brand experiences
- Proven experience serving as a primary day-to-day client contact, managing multiple accounts and delivering successful communications campaigns
- Confidence leading client meetings and presenting strategies, campaign recommendations and performance results
- Strong project management, organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience measuring campaign performance and translating results into clear insights, recommendations and next steps
- Background in creator partnerships, social media strategy, community engagement or integrated communications
- Experience mentoring junior team members, providing clear guidance and feedback and contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- A proactive, detail-oriented and solutions-oriented approach, with strong judgment, accountability and follow-through
- Tech-savvy, with comfort using tools like Muckrack, Google Workspace, Slack, and other PR software and project management platforms
