Associate Director - AI Sales, New York

JOB PURPOSE

We’re seeking a Senior AI Sales Specialist to spearhead end-to-end AI transformation journeys for our financial services clients. In this director-level role, you will craft and sell compelling AI solutions that leverage both our I&A talent and our AD&D capabilities. You’ll be the tip of the spear in positioning Acuity as a differentiated, future-forward AI partner for the financial industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Shape Vision: Engage C-suite and senior stakeholders to envision high-impact AI use cases and articulate the business value of AI across front, middle, and back-office functions. You’ll paint an aspirational picture of AI-powered productivity and decision-making.
• Lead Engagements: Lead end-to-end AI journeys that combine our I&A expertise and tech know-how – from robust data foundations and governance to selecting the right platforms and tools. You’ll highlight how AI and analytics can be industrialised within an enterprise (think “AI factory” rollout).
• Advise and guide: Confidently advise on the best of AI technology – from general productivity AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot) to finance-specific AI platforms (e.g. Rogo, Hebbia, ModelML), to our proprietary agentic platform AgentFleet, as well as custom solutions on Microsoft Azure and AWS. Your credibility with these tools will inspire client confidence.
• Drive Growth: Lead AI sales from initial idea to signed deal, collaborating with delivery teams to ensure our proposals are both visionary and grounded. You will stick with clients as it moves into delivery to ensure that the vision is realized and technology solutions drive value.

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Proven Sales Leadership: Extensive experience in consultative technology or solutions sales (likely 8+ years) with a track record of closing high-value, complex deals in the financial services sector. You know how to navigate client organizations in banking, asset management and private markets.
• AI Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts (NLP, generative AI, data analytics) and data architecture. You can credibly discuss model governance, data strategy and integration challenges, bridging the gap between business and tech.
• Tool & Platform Fluency: Hands-on familiarity with modern AI tools and platforms. Perhaps you’ve experimented with ChatGPT or Copilot, evaluated vertical AI products like Rogo or Hebbia, or helped build solutions on Azure/AWS. Credibility in this space is a must – you speak the language of both our clients at a tech level.
• Strategic Vision & Execution: A visionary mindset to identify what’s next in AI for clients, paired with the execution know-how to make it real. You can inspire clients with innovative ideas and also map out the practical steps to implement enterprise AI programs (governance, training, rollout).
• Influence in Financial Services: Strong domain knowledge in financial services with an authoritative presence. You’re comfortable as a trusted advisor to CIOs/CTOs/CDOs/CAIOs, heads of innovation and business unit leaders. (An existing network in FS is a plus.)
• Entrepreneurial Drive: Self-motivated and entrepreneurial approach to sales. You thrive in a fast-evolving space, love crafting new offerings and can work across teams to get things done without formal authority.
