Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network security infrastructure in a remote environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, network security, monitoring, and security incident troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise network security infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network security solutions.
• Manage firewall rules, NAT, access policies, security zones, and network segmentation.
• Monitor network traffic and investigate security alerts and suspicious activity.
• Troubleshoot complex network connectivity and security issues.
• Support site-to-site and remote-access VPNs.
• Perform firewall upgrades, patching, configuration changes, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Network, Cloud, Infrastructure, SOC, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in security incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Identify vulnerabilities and assist with remediation activities.
• Maintain network security documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Network Security=Strong hands-on experience with Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Check Point, or similar technologies.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and network segmentation.
• Experience with IPSec and SSL VPN.
• Knowledge of SSL/TLS, SSH, IPSec, and PKI.
• Experience with network monitoring and packet-analysis tools.
• Familiarity with SIEM and security monitoring.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
