Job Description
For our client, we are seeking a Director, AI Platform & Transformation to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.
This role will shape the enterprise AI platform strategy and guide the transformation of AI capabilities across the organization. The Director will prioritize high-impact opportunities, move initiatives from discovery through production, and partner closely with Data and Engineering to deliver scalable, usable solutions. This position also plays a key role in establishing reliability and performance standards while helping drive adoption of AI across the business.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $218,000 – $284,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Define the AI platform and transformation roadmap
- Prioritize AI opportunities across business areas
- Lead initiatives from discovery to production launch
- Architect and scale AI applications using advanced technologies
- Collaborate with Data and Engineering to improve data product usability
- Establish standards for AI system reliability and performance
- Grow teams and drive AI adoption across the organization
Qualifications
- 7+ years building and scaling AI software products for large audiences
- Experience designing large-scale machine learning infrastructure
- 4+ years developing and deploying AI and generative AI systems
- 3+ years of experience building AI applications with LLMs
- Hands-on experience with AI systems using vLLM, Ray, and MCP
- Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and other relevant technologies
- Experience in healthcare decision-support AI products
