Senior Platform Engineer - Cloud AWS

Job Description Experience: 8-10 Years (including 4-5 years of recent AWS and Cloud-Native experience)

Role Overview We are seeking a hands-on Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and support our cloud-native commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes or Amazon EKS, Microservices, DevOps, Automation, and SDLC practices , along with programming experience in Java or Python .

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native platforms on AWS.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes-based microservices infrastructure.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Helm, and Groovy.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform.
• Lead cloud migration, platform modernization, and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Implement security controls using Okta, Keycloak, OAuth, and cloud security best practices.
• Develop automation tools and scripts using Java and/or Python.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams throughout the SDLC.
• Build monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions for platform and application services.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis across the application and infrastructure stack.

Qualifications Ideal Candidate: A technically strong platform engineer/architect with a software development mindset, capable of driving platform modernization, automation, cloud transformation, and operational excellence in a large-scale enterprise environment
