Sr FullStack Python Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Python Developer to join BRQ’s engineering team and help design, build, and maintain applications that customers rely on every day.

In this role, you’ll work across the entire stack—from Python-based backend services to modern JavaScript frontends. You’ll take ownership of features from technical design through deployment and monitoring, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate closely with our client.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using Python and modern frontend frameworks.
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services that support core products.
• Own features end-to-end, from technical design and implementation through deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and client stakeholders to define requirements and deliver new features.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and actively participate in code reviews.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and promote strong engineering practices.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, technical roadmap planning, and development standards.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing practices, and developer tooling.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience , with a strong focus on Python.
• Proven experience with at least one Python web framework: Django, Flask, or FastAPI .
• Solid frontend development experience using JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern framework such as React, Vue, or Angular .
• Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL , and proficiency in SQL.
• Experience working with an ORM, such as Django ORM or SQLAlchemy .
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows, including pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure .
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, software testing, and system design.
• Excellent English communication skills , with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and work directly with clients.
• Strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Compensation: $65 USD to $68 USD per hour
