Who are Vecta?
Vecta is a dynamic recruitment business working across a range of clients and sectors, from specialist AI engineers through to graduate finance brokers.
We’re currently delivering a major recruitment campaign for one of our biggest clients and are looking for someone to join us for the next three months to help make it happen.
We’re a small, entrepreneurial business: fast-paced, scrappy and hands-on. We move quickly, solve problems as they come up, and care much more about getting things done well than unnecessary process.
The role
You’ll work closely with us to help manage a high-volume recruitment campaign and keep candidates moving quickly through the process.
You’ll be:
- Reviewing CVs and applications against clear criteria
- Making quick judgements on who should progress
- Speaking with candidates by phone and email
- Booking and preparing candidates for first-round interviews
- Following up and keeping candidates engaged
- Keeping trackers and candidate information accurate
- Jumping in wherever needed to keep the campaign moving
You don’t need to be an experienced recruiter. We’ll give you the training, criteria and support you need.
Who are we looking for?
Background matters less to us than how you work.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Confident and personable – comfortable speaking to lots of different people
- Efficient – you like getting through work and keeping things moving
- Quick-thinking – able to make sensible judgements without overthinking everything
- Organised and detail-oriented – nothing slips through the cracks
- Proactive – you see something that needs doing and get on with it
- Scrappy – happy figuring things out and adapting as you go
- Reliable – we can trust you to follow things through
Previous recruitment experience is useful, but absolutely not essential.
Hours & flexibility
- Ideally spread across Monday to Friday
- Flexibility around when those hours are worked
- Work remotely, from our Twickenham office, or a mix of both
- Additional paid hours may be available during busy periods
- Paid face-to-face training and onboarding day in Twickenham
What you’ll get
- A results-based performance bonus of up to £10,000
- Real responsibility on a live, high-volume recruitment campaign
- Direct exposure to founders and business leaders
- Experience across the recruitment journey from application to offer
- Flexible working and plenty of autonomy
- Direct coaching and support
- A professional reference on successful completion
- Potential for further work beyond the initial contract
Looking forward to seeing your application.
