Senior Power Bi Developer

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Data Analyst / BI Developer to work closely with business stakeholders and customers to extract, transform, and model data from multiple source systems. The ideal candidate will design and build Power BI data models and reporting solutions that support data migration, reconciliation, and integration with external platforms. Experience working with finance-related data is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers to understand data extraction, reporting, and integration requirements.
• Extract and consolidate data from multiple source systems and databases.
• Design, develop, and optimize Power BI data models, datasets, and reports.
• Perform data transformation, cleansing, and validation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Create export-ready datasets and reports to support uploads into external systems.
• Collaborate with business, finance, and technical teams to define data mapping and reconciliation processes.
• Troubleshoot data quality issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data models, mappings, and reporting processes.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including Data Modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
• Experience working with data from multiple source systems and databases.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience with data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Ability to work directly with customers and business stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Finance, Accounting, or ERP data.
• Knowledge of data migration, data mapping, and system integration projects.
• Exposure to Azure Data Services, ETL tools, or enterprise reporting platforms.
