Assistant to CEO & Marketing Assistant

Location: New York City / Brooklyn, NY
Pay: Starting at $35 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time to start, with potential to grow into Full-Time

About the Company

We are a fast-growing New York restoration and repair company specializing in:

• Water damage restoration
• Flood cleanup
• Emergency restoration
• Property repairs
• Residential and commercial projects

We work throughout New York City on apartments, homes, commercial properties, and buildings affected by flooding, leaks, and other types of water damage.

As we continue expanding our presence in NYC, we are looking for an energetic and highly resourceful person to join us as an Assistant to CEO & Marketing Assistant.

This is a hybrid role combining marketing, social media, AI content creation, field content production, and executive assistance.

We are looking for someone who enjoys figuring things out, learning quickly, and taking ownership of projects rather than waiting for detailed instructions.

Marketing & Social Media

You will help manage and grow our NYC social media presence across:

• Instagram
• TikTok
• Facebook
• YouTube Shorts
• Other emerging platforms

Responsibilities will include:

• Creating and publishing social media content
• Producing Reels, TikToks, Stories, Shorts, and posts
• Writing hooks, captions, and short-form video scripts
• Growing our audience and social media following
• Researching competitors and industry trends
• Developing new content ideas and formats
• Testing different marketing concepts
• Tracking which content performs best
• Helping create advertising creatives
• Assisting with local NYC marketing initiatives

AI Content & Marketing Tools

We use AI extensively in our marketing and operations.

You will work with tools such as:

• ChatGPT
• Higgsfield
• AI video generation tools
• AI image generation tools
• Voice-over tools
• Video editing software
• New AI products as they become available

A major part of the role is experimenting with new technology and finding better ways to produce content.

We want someone who regularly thinks:

“How can we make this faster, more interesting, and more effective using AI?”

You do not need to already know every tool. We care more about your ability to learn quickly and experiment.

Content From Real Restoration Projects

This is an important part of the position.

When our restoration teams are working on projects around New York, you will occasionally visit job sites and turn those projects into social media content.

This may include:

• Filming the property before work begins
• Recording progress during restoration
• Taking photos and videos of our team working
• Filming restoration equipment and processes
• Creating before / during / after content
• Interviewing team members when appropriate
• Documenting interesting or larger projects
• Turning one restoration job into multiple pieces of content
• Producing Reels, TikToks, Stories, Shorts, and other social content from the project

We want our social media to show the real work happening behind the company, not just polished advertisements.

You should be comfortable filming high-quality content using a smartphone.

Assistant to CEO Responsibilities

You will also assist the CEO with a variety of business and operational tasks.

Responsibilities may include:

• Scheduling meetings
• Making calls and sending messages
• Researching contractors, employees, vendors, or services
• Conducting online research
• Helping coordinate offices and job sites
• Ordering or picking up materials
• Communicating with vendors and contractors

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
