Part time small business assistant - admin, social media and general support

We are a growing premium hair brand based in Chessington and are looking for a friendly, organised and capable part-time assistant to help with the day-to-day running of the business.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days will be exactly the same. We are looking for someone who is happy to turn their hand to whatever needs doing and enjoys being part of a small, growing business.

Typical tasks may include:

• General administration and organisation
• Helping with Instagram, TikTok and other social media
• Taking simple photos and videos of products and content
• Packing and preparing customer orders
• Organising stock and hair pieces
• Preparing items for consultations, events and pop-ups
• Assisting with customer enquiries and appointments
• Running occasional local errands, including trips to the Post Office or collecting supplies
• Helping with general day-to-day business tasks as required

You do not need to be a qualified hairdresser, but an interest in hair, beauty, fashion or social media would be a real advantage. You should be comfortable handling human-hair products and willing to learn about our ranges.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, practical, organised, confident using social media and comfortable with basic computer and admin tasks. You should also be friendly with customers and able to work independently when needed.

The role is based primarily in Chessington, KT9, and is not a remote position.

Initially around 8–15 hours per week, usually across 1–2 weekdays, with some flexibility around the hours worked.

There is real scope for the role to grow over time as the business develops, with the possibility of increased hours and greater responsibility for the right person.

Pay: £14–£16 per hour depending on experience.

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8.0 per week
