Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems/Infrastructure Engineer with 10+ years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience to support and maintain enterprise systems and infrastructure environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Nutanix, Microsoft Windows Server, networking, virtualization, and disaster recovery (DR) . Experience with Microsoft Azure is a strong plus. This role requires a senior-level engineer who can troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, participate in enterprise projects, and help ensure the availability, performance, and resilience of critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise Windows server infrastructure .
• Administer and troubleshoot Nutanix infrastructure and virtualization environments .
• Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and overall infrastructure health.
• Troubleshoot complex server, network, virtualization, and connectivity issues .
• Work closely with network and infrastructure teams to resolve issues involving LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, routing, and connectivity .
• Develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery and business continuity solutions .
• Participate in DR planning, failover/failback testing, and recovery exercises .
• Identify infrastructure risks and recommend improvements to system availability, reliability, and performance.
• Perform Windows server upgrades, patching, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Support virtualization technologies and troubleshoot virtual machine and host-level issues.
• Collaborate with security, networking, application, and cloud teams on infrastructure initiatives.
• Participate in infrastructure migrations, upgrades, implementations, and other enterprise technology projects.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, procedures, and recovery documentation.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support for complex infrastructure problems.
• Participate in an on-call or after-hours support rotation as required.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Nutanix environments.
• Strong Microsoft Windows Server administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts , including:
• TCP/IP
• DNS/DHCP
• LAN/WAN
• Routing and switching concepts
• Network troubleshooting
• Firewall and connectivity concepts
• Strong experience with Disaster Recovery (DR) , business continuity, backup/recovery, and failover/failback processes.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level infrastructure environments .
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure infrastructure services.
• Experience with Azure migration or hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience with enterprise virtualization and data center technologies.
• Experience designing or improving high-availability infrastructure.
• Experience participating in infrastructure modernization and migration projects.
• Relevant Microsoft, Nutanix, Azure, or infrastructure certifications are a plus.
