Vibrant is seeking a Founding AI Engineer with a strong full-stack development foundation to design and build innovative AI-powered products for clinicians.
The role combines full-stack engineering, data modeling, API development, and UI design, with a strong focus on compliance and user experience. The ideal candidate has experience working in startup environments and is comfortable contributing across the technology stack in a fast-moving product environment.
This is a remote opportunity offering $180,000–$220,000 per year plus equity.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build AI-powered products for clinical users.
Develop full-stack software solutions across front-end and back-end components.
Design and implement effective data models to support product functionality.
Develop and integrate APIs and backend services.
Create user interfaces focused on usability and a strong user experience.
Consider compliance requirements throughout product and software development.
Collaborate on product development in a startup environment.
Contribute to the technical foundation and evolution of innovative healthcare technology products.
Help translate product requirements into scalable technology solutions.
Qualifications
Mid-Senior level experience in full-stack software development.
Strong foundation in modern technology and software development.
Experience building and delivering technology products.
Strong understanding of data modeling.
Experience designing and working with APIs.
Experience with UI design and user experience considerations.
Ability to work effectively within a startup environment.
