Project Design Engineer

We’re hiring a Project Design Engineer to support the development and execution of custom engineered systems. This role blends hands-on design work with project coordination, giving you involvement from early concept development through installation and startup.

Preferred Background

Experience with fluid‑process systems, sanitary processing, CIP, batching/blending, or applications in food, dairy, or beverage environments is valuable. Strong mechanical or fluid‑systems experience from other industries is also relevant.

The position works closely with senior Process Engineers to turn established process concepts into buildable systems. Some of the responsibilities include:

• Creating and updating CAD drawings and P&IDs
• Developing layouts for sanitary piping and process systems
• Selecting and specifying pumps, valves, instruments, tanks, and other components
• Developing bills of material and project documentation
• Supporting custom skidded process-equipment designs
• Coordinating with fabrication, controls, installation teams, vendors, and customers
• Supporting system installation, startup, and commissioning

The team is not looking for a senior process designer. They are looking for someone with a strong engineering foundation who understands CAD and fluid systems and wants to grow their experience with process equipment and project execution.

Experience in food, dairy, beverage, CIP, batching/blending, sanitary processing, or similar fluid-process applications would be especially valuable, although transferable industrial fluid-system experience is also of interest.
