Senior Lead AI Engineer

The Role

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products that transform associate workflows and customer interactions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components, including foundation model training, LLM inference, and guardrails.
• Leverage cutting-edge Open Source and SaaS AI technologies such as AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, and PyTorch.
• Invent and implement state-of-the-art LLM optimization techniques to enhance performance (scalability, cost, latency) of production AI systems.
• Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap of foundational AI systems within the organization.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with at least 6 years of AI/ML development experience; or Master’s degree with at least 4 years of experience.
• At least 6 years of programming experience with Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
• Strong foundation in engineering and mathematics, with expertise in hardware, software, and AI optimization.
• Ability to adapt quickly, bring clarity to complex problems, and articulate findings concisely.
• Passion for staying abreast of the latest AI research and applying novel techniques in production.
