Job Description
Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer II
Location: 100% Remote, must work EST business hours
Project Length: 3 – 6 month contract
Pay Rate: $75/HR
Work Type: Full-Time / Monday – Friday / 8am – 5pm/EST
No H1B, C2C sponsorship available for this position
Role’s Responsibilities “At-a-Glance”:
- Maintain current scalable, secure, solutions for cloud and on prem databases, storage, and networking
- “Shift and Lift”, on‑prem or cloud structures and migration strategy planning
- Maintain compliance standards and regulatory requirements
- Configure onsite and cloud resources and migration and performance strategies
- Managing applications using Helm Charts and Kubernetes management
- Frontend/Backend technologies of React, Java, .NET/C#, Angular
- Use tooling of Azure DevOps, and IaC Terraform to automate deployments
Skills & Experience Required for this position:
- BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 12 years of systems design, management, and architecture or 12 years combined higher education and tenured experience of systems design, management, and architecture
- Azure SRE experience with GitLab, Artifactory, CICD, Active deployment
- Proven experience Terraform automation, Kubernetes/Helm, and React, Java software development
- Technical authority for reliability, performance, resilience, and capacity planning
