Role Summary

Seeking a Senior Automation Tester with 8+ years of experience in automation testing, API testing, and modern Quality Engineering practices. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in automation framework development, CI/CD integration, and leveraging Generative AI tools to improve testing productivity and quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI, API, and database automation frameworks.
• Automate functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
• Perform API testing, database validation, and defect root cause analysis.
• Leverage AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) for test case generation, test data creation, script development, and defect analysis.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Architects in Agile teams.
• Mentor junior team members and drive automation best practices.

Must-Have Skills

• Selenium / Playwright / Cypress / TOSCA (Mandatory)
• Java (Mandatory)
• API Testing (Postman, Rest Assured)
• SQL & Database Testing
• TestNG / JUnit / BDD (Cucumber)
• CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab)
• Git Version Control
• Agile/Scrum Methodology

AI Skills

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or equivalent AI tools
• Prompt Engineering
• AI-assisted Test Case & Automation Script Generation
• AI Output Validation and Quality Assessment
• Understanding of Responsible AI concepts

Nice to Have

• Python
• Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Performance Testing (JMeter/LoadRunner)
• Domain experience in Healthcare, Banking, Insurance, Retail, or Telecom

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of Automation Testing experience
• Strong experience in automation framework design and implementation
