Job Description

We are looking for a manager who can quickly assess an opportunity, make a well-informed decision on whether to participate and take an application or tender proposal through to a high-quality submission.

ABOUT US

Compions.Agency is a communications agency. We work on strategy, branding, creative and information campaigns, social media communications, media relations, video production, events, and educational products.

Our work spans business, the public sector, international programmes, and socially impactful projects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Monitor tenders, procurement opportunities, calls for proposals, competitions, and requests for proposals (RFPs) in Ukraine and internationally on a daily basis.
  • Work across three main areas: international and social-sector calls for proposals, public procurement, and commercial tenders.
  • Conduct an initial assessment of each opportunity, including eligibility, relevant experience, team capacity, documentation, budget, deadlines, risks, and overall feasibility.
  • Analyse tender documentation and identify key requirements, evaluation criteria, mandatory documents, deadlines, and restrictions.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the technical, content, and commercial components of proposals.
  • Work with budgets, cost estimates, and financial forms together with the relevant team members.
  • Prepare or coordinate concepts, project proposals, cover letters, application forms, and other submission materials.
  • Ensure that the submission package meets all requirements, including document versions, signatures, attachments, formatting, and submission deadlines.
  • Maintain an opportunity calendar, a register of submitted applications, and up-to-date statuses for each tender.
  • Communicate with tender and competition organisers, prepare clarification requests, and respond to queries.
  • Analyse participation results: what we won, what we lost, why, and how to improve future submissions.
  • Gradually build and maintain your own database of relevant platforms, donors, procuring organisations, and corporate tender channels.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Practical experience working with tenders, grant competitions, procurement processes, or competitive proposals.
  • Ability to read complex documentation and quickly identify critical requirements.
  • Strong structured thinking and excellent attention to detail.
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher.
  • Experience with tenders for communications, marketing, creative, research, or consulting services is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working with international organisations, foundations, technical assistance programmes, or embassies is a strong advantage.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Part-time employment within a Ukrainian team; fully remote work
  • Fixed salary + performance-based bonus.
  • Direct access to the team, short approval processes, and the opportunity to test and implement your own ideas.
  • Professional development in corporate sales and business development within the communications sector.
