Value Stream and AI Transformation Lead

For our client, we are seeking a Value Stream and AI Transformation Lead to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will drive end-to-end value-stream improvement across program management disciplines, with a focus on identifying inefficiencies, simplifying workflows, and creating measurable business value. The position will also help shape practical AI-enabled process enhancements, balancing innovation with compliance, oversight, and operational risk. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define future-state workflows, implementation approaches, and roadmap priorities that support stronger execution and decision-making.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $139,662 – $151,119 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead value-stream mapping across various program management disciplines
• Identify process delays and opportunities for simplification or automation
• Develop a prioritized transformation roadmap focusing on business value and compliance risk
• Design use cases for AI to enhance program execution and decision support
• Define oversight and approval processes for AI-enabled workflows
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define solution requirements and implementation methods
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops to convert findings into actionable processes and plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering, information systems, data science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or 6 years with a Master’s degree
• Significant experience improving complex, cross-functional business processes
• Demonstrated experience with value-stream mapping or comparable process-improvement methods
• Practical understanding of generative AI and workflow automation
• Ability to assess AI opportunities, risks, and necessary human controls
• Experience leading workshops and producing future-state designs and roadmaps
