python AI Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based backend applications using Django, FastAPI, and/or Flask.
• Build and integrate AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities into applications.
• Develop REST APIs and backend services using FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST Framework.
• Integrate LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source models into production applications.

• Build AI features such as:

• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
• Chatbots and AI assistants
• Document processing and summarization
• Semantic search
• Text classification and extraction

• AI-powered automation

• Work with LLM frameworks and tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalent technologies.
• Design and work with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services.
• Integrate third-party APIs and AI services.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested Python code.
• Implement authentication, authorization, API security, logging, and error handling.
• Containerize applications using Docker and support deployment to cloud environments.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, data scientists, DevOps engineers, and product teams.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production applications and AI services.
• Write technical documentation and API documentation.
