Java Backend Developer

About The Opportunity A fast-scaling tech-driven firm in the Enterprise Software & SaaS sector, we build high-availability, scalable backend systems powering mission-critical financial, logistics, and customer-facing platforms for Fortune 500 clients. Our Java engineers design and deploy resilient microservices, optimize database performance, and ensure seamless API integrations across hybrid cloud environments—using modern Spring ecosystems and DevOps toolchains to ship value daily. Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based backend services using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
• Optimize database queries and schema design for PostgreSQL/Oracle, ensuring low-latency and high-throughput transactional processing.
• Implement secure, auditable authentication/authorization flows using OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to ship CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and containerized deployments via Docker/K8s.
• Diagnose and resolve production incidents, ensuring 99.9%+ service uptime through proactive monitoring and logging (Prometheus, ELK).
• Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices for maintainability and scalability.

Skills & Qualifications Must-Have

• Java11 or higher
• Databases Relational : either Oracle or SQL Server and NoSQL -either Cassandra or MongoDB
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
• CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Chef, Puppet – at least one of them

• AWS EC2/ECS
