Hybrid Salon admin Assistant / Nail Technician

Job Overview

Manicured London is a luxury nail studio in Hackney Wick, working with a membership-led, editorial-standard client base. We’re looking for a flexible, all-round team member who can do beautiful nails, hold down the front desk, and help us behind the scenes too.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and provide outstanding customer service to ensure a positive salon experience
• Schedule appointments efficiently, managing the daily flow of clients and maintaining an organized booking system
• Perform professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, BIAB and other nail enhancements with precision and care
• Assist with administrative duties such as checking in clients, processing payments, and maintaining salon cleanliness and supplies
• Communicate clearly with clients about their treatments, aftercare, and available services to enhance satisfaction
• Promote retail products and upcoming promotions to boost sales and client engagement
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in all nail procedures following health regulations

The role:

• Some days on-site: performing BIAB, gel manicures and pedicures, nail art, and Apres Gel-X extensions, plus reception cover — client check-in/checkout , taking payments
• Other days remote: managing WhatsApp, DMs, email enquiries, phone bookings, and content creation (photos/reels for Instagram)

Experience

• Previous experience in a salon environment or as a nail technician
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse clients
• Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Confident and experienced in BIAB, gel manicures and pedicures, nail art, and Apres Gel-X extensions all required
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a polished, professional manner, in person and in writing
• Comfortable using booking/POS systems
• Reliable and self-sufficient — much of the remote work is unsupervised

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
