Job Description

About the Job

Our client is a high-growth, global software enterprise delivering collaborative cloud platforms and B2B SaaS solutions across North American and APAC markets. We are seeking an empathetic, visually elite, and detail-oriented Associate UX/UI Designer to join our international design team. In this entry-level role, you will help shape the end-to-end user experience of our desktop and mobile applications, transforming complex workflows into intuitive, beautiful, and accessible user interfaces.

Why Join Us

  • Global Product Canvas: Design user interfaces and interactive workflows used by thousands of global business clients, directly impacting international product adoption.
  • Full Visa Sponsorship Support: Join a company with a proven track record of nurturing global talent, providing a dedicated internal pipeline for OPT, STEM extensions, and H1-B visa processing.
  • Elite Remote Design Track: Work from anywhere while gaining hands-on, daily mentorship from senior design leaders, mastering Figma, design system architecture, and advanced prototyping.

Responsibilities

  • Visual & UI Design Execution: Create pixel-perfect high-fidelity interface designs, responsive layouts, typography systems, and iconography that adhere to and elevate our global product design language.
  • Wireframing & Interactive Prototyping: Transform raw conceptual ideas, user stories, and feature requirements into structural wireframes and clickable, interactive prototypes in Figma to visualize user journeys.
  • Bilingual Localization Layouts: Collaborate closely with product managers to optimize interfaces for cross-border deployment, carefully accounting for language length variances, typography rendering, and UI constraints between English and Korean software versions.
  • Cross-Functional Hand-Offs: Partner hand-in-hand with frontend engineering pods to ensure your design files, responsive components, and design tokens are implemented flawlessly into production code.
  • User Research & Usability Testing: Assist senior designers in running user research sessions, aggregating customer feedback, and analyzing product usage data to identify and design past user friction points.

Requirements

  • Education & Domain Literacy: Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related visual arts field. A strong digital portfolio demonstrating clean layouts, responsive UI grids, and a user-first problem-solving mindset is strictly required.
  • Professional/Academic Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience (inclusive of robust UX/UI design internships, freelance design engagements, university agency capstones, or extensive personal product design case studies).
  • Language Fluency: Professional-to-native level verbal and written proficiency in both English and Korean . You must be entirely comfortable presenting design concepts and writing copy/documentation in both languages.
  • Work Authorization Eligibility: Open to global candidates holding valid F-1 visas looking for OPT / STEM OPT employer validation or those requiring H1-B visa sponsorship/transfers.
  • Figma Tooling Mastery: Strong practical command of Figma , including a foundational understanding of auto-layout, components, variants, variables, and interactive prototyping states.
  • Design Fundamentals & Accessibility: Flawless grasp of core visual design principles: color theory, visual hierarchy, grid structures, typography, and a basic awareness of web accessibility standards (WCAG).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic familiarity with frontend web concepts (HTML/CSS) to better understand developer constraints during asset hand-offs.
  • Prior experience utilizing or contributing to a scalable, atomic corporate Design System.
  • Experience working effectively within a remote, distributed, or cross-border team environment.
