I am an artist and creator looking for a Lead Integrator: someone who thinks strategically on Friday, prioritizes, and builds the schedule and spreadsheet by Monday morning. (Experience working with high-level creatives in advertising, production, content creation and/or music is helpful.)

The Short Version:
I’m a commercial photographer, director. I operate out of my bright live-work space. My last three shoots were for Doritos + F1 globally, BMW, and City of Hope. I’m being asked to shoot a science docu on lasers and epigenetics. I am completing a music composition for the National Gallery of Art in DC for their upcoming summer exhibit. (And all of the above need thoughtful social media content so people know I’ve completed them.)

I need help structuring and organizing my business from a solo operator with adhoc systems to a structured creative studio (like Rick Rubin’s). That’s where you come in.

What I Need:
I need someone to create those structures for my business as a whole and especially around my personal creative projects. A left-brain specialist who executes and completes. This role blends Executive Assistant and light Personal Assistant work with high-level business strategy — expect both boardroom-level thinking and hands-on tasks in the same day.

Your Responsibilities:
Calendar and time management
After doing a thorough intake and in-depth discovery, create a system for prioritizing and scheduling daily behavior.
(Ferociously) protect a minimum 90-minute daily creative block. This would be the biggest win.
Body Double Protocol: work shoulder-to-shoulder during administrative sprints to bypass execution blocks and push stalled tasks across the finish line.
Travel logistics and hotel scheduling
Own the CRM for agency outreach, follow-ups, and client cultivation. LinkedIn focused.
Source, screen, and onboard project contractors as production dictates (like social media editors, music studio techs).
Light PA work — occasional personal and family logistics coordination, including some estate/family management support
Light errands — running to the post office to drop off packages, and similar day-to-day tasks

Who You Are
Prefer 5+ years experience managing high-level creatives, executives, or start-up founders. Energized by high idea-flow, not overwhelmed by it. You hold authority in your domain without seeking permission. You’re comfortable reviewing a contract and attending a client dinner on the same day. You use AI tools daily to multiply your output — already doing it, not learning about it.

What This Role Is NOT:
Not a creative apprenticeship. Not a detached advisory role. There is no other staff yet. You are the architect and the builder. If you’re above decluttering a desk, tracking an invoice, calling Spectrum because they double-billed, or running a box to USPS, this isn’t the right fit.

Engagement Structure:
This role starts as 1099 contract work, 10–20 hours/week, beginning with a 30-day intensive sprint to build the initial systems. From there, hours may flex up as production demands (up to 20–30/week), with the possibility of the role becoming full-time. If/when it moves to full-time, we’re open to structuring that as either continued 1099 contract or salaried employment — happy to discuss which fits you better.

Pay: $24–$38/hour, based on a $50,000–$80,000/year full-time equivalent. During the contract phase, you’re paid for actual hours worked, not the full annual figure — the annual number reflects what this converts to only once/if the role becomes full-time.

Location: Venice Beach, for shoulder-to-shoulder work. Hybrid considered for the right person.

Pay: $24.00 - $38.00 per hour
