Commercial Plumbing Project Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Plumbing Project Manager to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This role is responsible for leading plumbing construction projects from kickoff to closeout, ensuring quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with the ability to manage teams, budgets, schedules, and relationships while maintaining frēijē’s high standards of excellence.

Responsibilities: Project Planning & Management

• Lead project kickoff and setup, including job creation, submittals, and planning.
• Manage project timelines and schedules based on estimates and contracts.
• Order materials and equipment to keep projects running efficiently.
• Handle all project documentation and administration from start to finish.
• Produce, price, and manage change orders.

Financial Oversight

• Own the project budget and ensure profitability.
• Track costs and provide accurate reporting to management.
• Coordination & Leadership
• Coordinate vendors, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Interpret plans, specifications, and legal contracts with confidence.
• Collaborate with internal teams for seamless project delivery.
• Stay current with industry trends, technology tools, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• 3–10+ years of plumbing or mechanical project management experience.
• PMP certification or B.S. in Construction Management preferred.
• Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD, Vista, and Bluebeam a bonus.
• Strong understanding of blueprints, specifications, contracts, and job cost tracking.
