We are seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Mobile Application Developer to help build and launch a comprehensive social fitness and combat-sports platform.

The application will combine social networking, user-generated content, private messaging, live video streaming, fitness classes, event management, subscriptions, donations, notifications, and administrative moderation tools.

The ideal candidate has experience building scalable consumer mobile applications and can work across mobile development, backend services, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, real-time communications, media processing, and third-party integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a cross-platform mobile application for iOS and Android.
• Build secure user registration, authentication, email verification, password recovery, social login, and two-factor authentication.
• Implement role-based accounts for members, athletes, trainers, moderators, and administrators.
• Create a social feed supporting text, image, and video posts.
• Develop likes, comments, threaded replies, mentions, tags, reposts, sharing, saving, following, muting, blocking, and reporting.
• Implement personalized Following and Explore feeds using configurable weighted-ranking systems.
• Build user and content search with predictive suggestions, filters, recent searches, and trending results.
• Develop one-to-one real-time messaging with:
• Text, images, videos, emojis, and links
• Message requests
• Replies and reactions
• Delivered and read receipts
• Typing indicators
• Online status
• Conversation muting
• Blocking and deletion
• Build user profiles displaying biographies, statistics, posts, events, classes, followers, and following.
• Support public and private profiles with follow-request approval.
• Develop on-demand and live fitness-class functionality.
• Allow trainers to create, upload, edit, schedule, reschedule, cancel, and manage classes.
• Implement recurring classes, class capacity, attendance tracking, invitations, bookings, reminders, and calendar integration.
• Build live-class waiting rooms, participant lists, live chat, reactions, raise-hand functionality, and trainer controls.
• Develop live and scheduled event functionality, including event details, athlete statistics, countdowns, viewer lists, comments, reactions, and historical results.
• Create a prediction and voting system with real-time results and account-level vote controls.
• Implement event-request, approval, scheduling, cancellation, and notification workflows.
• Develop secure donation functionality, including preset and custom donation amounts, anonymous donations, progress tracking, receipts, payment failures, refunds, and organizer payouts.
• Build recurring subscription functionality for premium classes and live content.
• Implement subscription entitlements, paywalls, renewals, cancellations, failed-payment handling, purchase restoration, and billing history.
• Create in-app, push, and email notifications with user-controlled preferences.
• Develop an administrative web portal for managing users, roles, trainers, athletes, events, classes, subscriptions, donations, and reports.
• Build reporting and moderation tools for posts, comments, messages, profiles, live chats, and live streams.
• Implement moderation queues, warnings, strikes, suspensions, permanent bans, appeals, audit logs, and moderator permissions.
• Integrate automated moderation for text, images, videos, audio, and live-stream content.
• Develop reliable chunked media uploads with background processing, progress tracking, retry, resume, integrity validation, and secure cloud storage.
• Optimize media delivery and playback across social posts, messages, recorded classes, and live-event replays.
• Design the system to support significant concurrent usage and future growth.
• Write clean, documented, maintainable, and testable code.
• Participate in architecture planning, code reviews, debugging, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and application-store release preparation.
• Collaborate with product management, UI/UX design, QA, DevOps, and other developers.

Required Qualifications

• Significant professional experience developing production mobile applications.
• Strong experience with cross-platform mobile frameworks such as React Native or Flutter.
